Thanks to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 48 in Morrisburg for their recent $5,000 donation to the general equpiment fund. Read more.

At a recent Black Walnut Group meeting, the Eastern Ontario Prostate Cancer Awarness Committee made a $3,000 donation to support the WDMH's cancer coach program. Learn more.

Thank you to the Greely & District Legion for their donation of $4,000 - proceeds from poppy sales. This generous legion has donated more than $36,000 to WDMH since 2002. Thank you for your incredible volunteer service.

It was Christmas in February as Scotiabank presented a cheque for $5,000 as part of its Christmas Wish Tree matching gift program. Scotiabank was the Presenting Sponsor with participating branches in Chesterville, Findlay Creek, Morrisburg, Osgoode, Russell and South Mountain.


A reception was held on February 9 to thank the Executive Committee of the SD&G International Plowing Match & Rural Expo for their generous donation of $100,000 for WDMH's highest priority needs. The patient/family lounge on the med/surg unit has been renamed in their honour. Read more.


The team at Shoppers Drug Mart in Embrun recently donated $2,922 to the Foundation's Cancer Care Fund. It was part of their Growing Women's Health campaign. Read more.


Thank you to the Dundas County Players for their generous donation of $4,500 from sales of their Calendar Girls calendar. Read more

Happy 40th Anniversary and thank you to the Morrisburg and District Arts and Craft Association for their donation of $350 - part of ther proceeds from their November sale. Since 1998, the Association has donated $8,800 to the WDMH Foundation!

WDMH is one of only two hospitals in Canada to have a state-of-the-art scope cabinet - thanks to our generous donors. Read more.


The WDMH Love Ball keeps on bouncing, thanks to Nancy Graham and her generous friends, family and colleagues. To date, $3,475 has been raised!  Read more.


Giving back! Thank you to  Club du Bel âge de Marionville for a recent gift of $1,000 to the general equipment fund in support of WDMH's new AUtomatic Dispensing Cabinets. The Foundation is currently raising funds for this important new technology. Read more.

Patients in WDMH's Enhanced Managed Care Unit are the sickest in the hospital and need specialized support. Corvinelli Homes has partnered with Scotiabank to donate $5000 to purchase two patient chairs to help in their healing. Read more.


Thanks to the Eastern Ontario Prostate Cancer Awareness Committee and everyone who supported Dare to Flash a Stache last November. The committee raises awareness and funds for both the Winchester District Memorial Hospital and The Ottawa Hospital - more than $161,000 in the last four years!

This year, $9.548.55 was raised for WDMH's cancer navigator program - thank you!  Read more.



The 2015 Christmas Wish Tree raised $51,000 for WDMH's highest priority needs. Thanks to Stephanie McAllister of StPierre-McAllister Appraisals for receently hosting an online Facebook auction for the WDMH Foundation. $1,082 was raised!  Read more


It was smiles all around at this year's Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign. Thank you to our three local stores in Winchester Morrisburg and Long Sault for supporting WDMH Foundation. $10,360 was raised to support the hospital's highest priority needs. Read more.


Special thanks to the Morrisburg and District Arts and Crafts Association for their recent gift from their craft sale at the Legion in Morrisburg. $350 was donated in support of WDMH's highest priority needs. The Association has been supporting WDMH for 18 years! Shown at the presentation ceremony are Kristen Casselman, Foundation Managing Director, Association President Linda Schenck and Dwight Saunders. Thank you!

Special thanks to the Metcalfe Farmers' Market for their recent donation of $345 for our general equipment fund. The funds were raised throughout the season at the market via a corn roast, face painting and performances by guitarist Gord Crowe. Shown at the presentation ceremony are (l-r): Gord Crowe, Amber Payne, Kristen Casselman (WDMH Foundation) and Susan Potter.


The impact of Heel 'n Wheel is already being felt at WDMH. Two new colonoscopes are being used every day as a vital tool in the screening of colorectal cancer. Read more.

600 men = $36,200!  Thank you to everyone involved in this year's Shroomfest. WDMH received $3,000 this year. Over the past few years, Shroomfest has donated $22,000 to support local care at WDMH!

Thank you to the Metcalfe and District Lions Club and the Morrisburg Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion for their recent donations of $2500 and $5000 respectively. The Morrisburg Order of the Eastern Star and Morrisburg Temple Holdings Inc. have donated a portion of the proceeds from the sale of their building to the WDMH Foundation. The donation of $40,632.42 will be  used for new equipment. Thank you!

A special thank you to the Eastern Ontario Cancer Awareness Committee for their recent gift of $16,150.32 for WDMH's Cancer Navigator program. Over the past three years, the Dare to Flashe a 'Stache has raised more than $142,000 to support cancer programs at both WDMH and The Ottawa Hospital.


Thank you to the Dundas Soil and Crop Improvement Association. They recently donated $500 to the Equipment Fund.
