What's Your Story?
Have you or one of your friends or family members been touched by a special caregiver at WDMH? People in our communities are affected by the personal caring touch of our staff every day. We encourage you to turn that story into an event, benefitting the hospital. When we team up with our neighbors, friends and family to celebrate and support the many ways our hospital has continued to grow since 1948, we are helping to ensure that the next generation of residents are able to receive the tender care that we've been provided.
From golf tournaments to garage sales and everything in between, What’s Your Story is the WDMH Foundation’s community events program that brings people together to share their stories while raising critical funds for programs and services at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital.
There are lots of ways to raise funds at your event including entry fees, pledges, sponsorships, auctions, matching donations and more. Whatever you do, WDMH Foundation can help you to make the most of your fundraising efforts. If you or someone you know is interested in holding an event in support of our hospital, download the Events Planning Package for more information.
Community events are what make each community in Eastern Ontario so special and unique. Thank you so much for volunteering to contribute to those special memories by hosting and organizing your own, unique event in support of the Winchester District Memorial Hospital. If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to contact us.
When you have decided that you will share your story by organizing a fundraising event to benefit WDMH, you will need to submit a Third Party Event Proposal Form, as well as a Third Party Event Agreement. You can do so by printing the forms and either mail them or drop them off at the hospital at the below address. Alternatively, you can e-mail or fax your proposal form and event agreement to Chelsea Dunn at cdunn@wdmh.on.ca or 613-774-5560.
